The Runaways
Most of you by now probably know I love Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart is also one of my favorite actresses. I recently watched two of her other movies (besides the ones I so dearly love, Twilight), the first being “The Runaways,” a story of Joan Jett’s beginnings in the show business. Although the movie was supposed to be about Joan Jett, or so I thought, it focused mainly on Dakota Fanning’s character, Cherie Currie, another singer in the band, but was still an interesting portrayal of Joan Jett and life in the 70s.
La mayoría de vosotros probablemente ya sabéis que me encanta Robert Pattinson, y Kristen Stewart es otra de mis actrices favoritas. Recientemente vi dos de sus otras películas (además de las que me encantan, Crepúsculo), la primera siendo “The Runaways,” una historia de los principios de Joan Jett en la industria del espectáculo. Aunque la película debía seguir Joan Jett, o eso es lo que pensaba, se trataba principalmente en el personaje de Dakota Fanning, Cherie Currie, otra cantante en la banda, pero todavía fue una narración interesante de Joan Jett y la vida en los 70.

On the Road
Normally I hate hate hate watching movies that I know were books first without reading the books, but as I have no time for pleasure reading in my near future, I bit the bullet and watched “On the Road.” “On the Road” tells the story of a group of young wanderers traveling around the country and making a living any way they can. I was waiting for Kristen’s character to fall in love with the main character…but I won’t say more. No spoilers!
Normalmente yo odio odio odio ver películas que sé fueron libros primero sin leer los libros, pero como no tengo tiempo para lectura placentera en el futuro cercano, tragué y vi “On the Road.” “On the Road” sigue un grupo de vagabundos jóvenes que están viajando por el país y se están ganando la vida de alguna forma que puedan. Estaba esperando que el personaje de Kristen se enamora con el personaje principal…pero no digo más. ¡No destripes!
