A year ago this month, I started a whole new life. I don’t really realize how momentous things are in the moment–I am more of a jump-on-head-first type of person, so I am taking a moment now to appreciate just how momentous it was: moving to a new city for a new job, all by myself. Creating a whole new life in one fell swoop.
