Sweet Thai Shrimp Pasta

I found this recipe on Facebook (shoutout to @incrediblerecipes, and it’s quite easy once you get the hang of it. It can be divided into three simple parts: sauce, pasta, and shrimp.

What you need:

-whole wheat pasta

-shrimp

-Thai Sweet Chili sauce, half cup

-mayonnaise, half cup

-red pepper flakes, ¼ tsp

-paprika, 3 tsp

-5 cloves of garlic

-onion powder, ½ tbsp

-lime juice, 2 tbsp

-parsley, to taste

-black pepper, to taste

What to do:

1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients for the sauce (mayo, Thai Sweet Chili sauce, 2 cloves of garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes) and set aside.

2. Cook pasta and set aside.

3. While pasta is cooking, mix shrimp with the paprika, 3 cloves of garlic, black pepper, and parsley.

4. Cook mixture on medium high heat until shrimp is fully cooked.

5. Combine pasta, sauce, and shrimp together, tossing until thoroughly mixed.

If you want the dish spicier, use less mayo! The first time I made this recipe, it tasted altogether too much like mayonnaise, so the second time around I used about half the amount of mayonnaise and a little more red pepper flakes and Thai sauce and it was delicious!
