Quick and Easy Couscous

Here’s another quick and easy recipe for you: couscous. I’m not sure there’s anything easier to make, in fact.

I added a kind of salad to my couscous, and you should too!

Here’s what you need:

-couscous

-garbanzo beans

-olive oil, salt, pepper

-almonds

-small red onion

-cherry tomatoes

-balsamic vinegar

Here’s what to do for the couscous:

1. Boil 2 cups of water.

2. When boiling, add 2 cups of couscous and take off heat.

3. Let sit for 10 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork.

4. Add salt, pepper, and crumbled almonds to taste.

That’s it! I also added garbanzo beans to my couscous to make it more flavorful.

Here’s what to do for the salad:

1. Chop tomatoes and onion.

2. Mix with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.

You can also add any spice that you like to your couscous to make it more flavorful. Next time, I think I’ll add hot pepper or garlic.

This took me a total of 20 minutes, 30 minutes to eat. Enjoy!
